This glass package is designed with both a higher solar heat gain coefficient (.39) and an increased Center of Glass R-Value (3.85). This combination allows for much higher levels of free solar heat gain in the winter, while providing the insulation ability of an increased R-Value, keeping the re-radiated heat and warmth from escaping to the outside, thereby reducing your heating costs.

This is an ideal glass package for the northern climates where heating costs are the highest concern. It is also well suited for the central region where energy costs are spread over both heating and cooling.
